Who We Are

Why We Do What We Do
Our mission goes beyond individual support; we actively challenge and disrupt the systems that perpetuate inequalities in our society. With a proven track record of delivering effective support services, in 2024, we helped house more than 1,400 individuals and provided support to over 500 of our service users, helping them to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives in their new country.
We are now looking for a Family Refugee Support & Integration Officer to join us on a full-time basis on a one-year fixed-term contract, working 37.5 hours per week.
Our Commitment to You
- Salary of £27,000 per annum
- 25 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays
- Pension
- Flexible working
- Employee Recognition Programme

- Social gatherings and staff retreats
- A fully stocked staffroom!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced family or child support worker to join our passionate and supportive team.
In this rewarding role, you will have the chance to be at the forefront of change, helping families navigate new beginnings, overcome barriers, and unlock their potential — giving them the tools to flourish and feel truly at home in their communities.
As you empower families to build new lives, we’ll empower you — nurturing your development, supporting your wellbeing, and surrounding you with a team driven by shared purpose and lived experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Family Refugee Support & Integration Officer, you will help families resettle and integrate into UK life, providing tailored support and guidance.
Managing a designated caseload, you will carry out needs assessments, develop personalised support plans and provide advice on issues such as housing, finance, education, employment, and health.
Alongside this, you will also forge strong partnerships with external organisations and agencies to promote opportunities for families.
Additionally, you will:
- Support families with budgeting, benefits and building social networks
- Signpost to external agencies and services where needed
- Visit tenants in their homes and community settings
- Keep accurate records and manage your caseload effectively
What We’re Looking For
To be considered as a Family Refugee Support & Integration Officer, you will need:
- Experience of working in family or children support services
- Experience of providing advice and guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
- Experience of creating support plans and completing needs assessments
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with complex/multiple support needs
- Experience and knowledge of homelessness and Housing law
- The ability to effectively assess, manage and continuously review needs and risks
- The ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
Due to the nature of this post, an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for successful applicants, but only with their prior consent.
The closing date for this role is 6th October 2025.
