Purpose of Job:
The Employer Engagement & Projects Lead will manage and deliver projects that support ACH’s mission to improve the economic, social, and civic integration of refugees. The role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and successful delivery of projects while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
The Employer Engagement & Projects Lead will also coordinate internal teams and external partners, monitor performance and outcomes, manage risks and timelines, and ensure that projects deliver meaningful impact for beneficiaries and the wider community.
The role will also lead on employer engagement, developing and sustaining strategic partnerships with employers to create employment, training, and progression opportunities for learners and service users. This includes identifying and developing employer-led solutions that contribute to the diversification of funding streams and support the organisation’s long-term sustainability.
The role will contribute towards ACH’s Management Information Systems (MIS) processes related to programme delivery, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making, compliance with funder requirements, and continuous improvement of services.
Overall, the role combines leadership, strategic employer engagement, operational project management, stakeholder engagement, MIS contribution, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality programme delivery and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management
• Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of assigned projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, and ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
• Ensure projects meet agreed objectives, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation.
• Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation processes are in place to measure outcomes and programme impact.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and implement best practice approaches.
MIS Leadership & Data Management
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data collection, entry, and management across all projects.
• Develop and maintain systems for monitoring participant engagement, progress, and outcomes.
• Produce regular performance reports and data analysis for internal management, funders, and stakeholders.
• Support staff in the correct use of MIS systems and provide guidance on data recording and reporting processes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reporting systems.
• Use data insights to inform programme improvements, strategic decision-making, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation (including GDPR) and organisational data governance policies.
Leadership & Team Management
• Provide line management and support to project staff where applicable.
• Support team members through regular supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Ensure all team members comply with organisational policies, safeguarding procedures, and quality standards.
• Support staff to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements through effective use of MIS.
Employer Engagement & Partnership Working
• Lead on employer engagement, developing strong employer partnerships that deliver positive outcomes for learners and service users, while contributing to the diversification of funding through tailored employer solutions.
• Represent ACH at meetings, partnerships, and community networks across Bristol and surrounding areas.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure collaboration and transparency.
• Support partnership development to enhance project impact and sustainability.
• Provide data insights and reports to partners and funders where required.
Compliance, Quality & Safeguarding
• Ensure projects comply with safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure all documentation is compliant with organisational and funder requirements.
• Ensure projects operate in line with funding requirements, quality frameworks, and organisational policies.
• Promote ethical, inclusive, and responsible data management practices across all programme activities.
Other Duties
• Provide direct support to project participants where appropriate.
• Travel across Bristol and the surrounding areas to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the line manager.
Compliance & Safeguarding
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.
• Ensure employment opportunities meet fair work, fair pay, and quality standards.
• Carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the line manager.
