Salary: £14,014 per annum

Job Purpose
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our communal areas. The successful candidate will ensure that shared spaces are clean, tidy, and safe for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain communal hallways, corridors, stairwells, and entrance areas.
• Clean and disinfect communal toilets and washrooms.
• Clean communal kitchens, including worktops, sinks, cupboards, and appliances.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report when stock is running low.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable cleaning duties as requested.
Person Specification Essential
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good attention to detail.
• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help.
Desirable
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Experience cleaning communal residential or commercial properties.
