We are now looking for a Support & Integration Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support & Integration Officer, you will provide person-centred support, advice and guidance to help refugees successfully resettle and integrate into their communities.

Managing a designated caseload, you will assess individual needs and risks, develop tailored support plans and provide culturally sensitive guidance across areas including housing, finance, education, employment, health and immigration.

You will also support tenants to build independence, access relevant services and opportunities, and develop social networks within their communities.

Additionally, you will:

- Carry out pre-tenancy assessments
- Maintain accurate case files and CRM records
- Visit tenants at their properties and in the community
- Organise house meetings and group trips
- Make internal and external referrals to relevant services
- Build relationships with external organisations and referral partners

What We’re Looking For

To be considered as a Support & Integration Officer, you will need:

- Experience of working with asylum seekers or refugees in a paid or voluntary capacity
- Experience of providing advice, guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
- Experience of creating support plans and completing needs assessments
- An understanding of safeguarding in relation to vulnerable adults
- The ability to assess, manage and continuously review needs and risks
- The ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes

Due to the nature of this post, an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for successful applicants, but only with their prior consent.
